About the Scholarship:
The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarship is designed to empower doctoral students to engage with diverse perspectives, serve their communities, and lead with innovation. The Foundation provides a robust leadership development program that includes participation in events, conferences, and community service.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible, candidates must:
- Be accepted into or in the first or second year of a full-time doctoral program, expected to complete studies in 2026 or later.
- Pursue research broadly related to the humanities or human sciences that is relevant to Canada’s future.
- Address at least one of the Foundation’s Four Themes:
- Human Rights and Dignity
- Responsible Citizenship
- Canada and the World
- People and their Natural Environment
- Be a Canadian or a foreign citizen studying at a Canadian or foreign institution, or a non-Canadian (permanent resident of Canada or foreign national) enrolled in a doctoral program at a Canadian institution.
Benefits:
