Scholarship Details:
The AGCAE scholarships are designed to support full-time research in entrepreneurship-led development. The scholarships are open to South African and African foreign nationals, with a preference for those from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.
Scholarship Requirements:
For PhD Applicants:
- Must meet the minimum criteria for admission to a PhD program at Stellenbosch University (requires a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline).
- Achieved a minimum mark of 70% in their Master’s programs.
- Must apply for a research topic related to AGCAE’s research themes.
For Master’s Applicants:
- Must meet the minimum criteria for admission to a Master’s program at Stellenbosch University (requires an Honours degree in a relevant discipline).
- Achieved a minimum mark of 70% in their Honours programs.
- Must apply for a research topic related to AGCAE’s research themes.
Scholarship Benefits:
- Doctoral Scholarships: R250,000 per year for three years
- Master’s Scholarships: R150,000 per year for two years
Scholarship Fully Funded -Baylor University Graduate (Deadline December 2024)
Required Documents:
- Academic Records: Certified copies of diploma/degree certificates and official transcripts.
- ID or Passport: Certified copy of your ID (for South Africans) or passport (for international applicants).
- Proof of English Proficiency: Either proof that qualifications were obtained from institutions where English is the language of instruction or an English language proficiency certificate (valid within the last 24 months).
