The SOHCAHTOA Foundation is committed to supporting education in Nigeria. As part of its initiatives, the foundation provides financial aid to students in public tertiary institutions through its Undergraduate Scholarship Program. This scholarship aims to help students succeed in their studies by providing them with the necessary financial resources.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the 2024 SOHCAHTOA Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Enrollment: Must be a second-year student or above in a Nigerian public tertiary institution (university, polytechnic, or college of education).
- Academic Performance: Must have at least five O’ level credit passes in one sitting, including English and Mathematics.
- CGPA Requirement: Must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale or its equivalent in other grading systems.
- Course of Study: Must be enrolled in one of the following programs:
- Administration
- Engineering
- Humanities
- Law
- Mathematics
- Medicine
- Sciences
- Technology
- Other Scholarships: Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship, bursary, or grant from another organization.
Scholarship Benefits
- Annual Award: N250,000 per year, renewable until graduation, provided the student maintains good academic standing.
