Eligibility Criteria

- UCAS Applicants: Must actively select Essex as their firm choice by September 15, 2024. Students who are placed at Essex due to rejection by another institution that was their first choice are not eligible.
- Direct Applicants: Must accept their offer to study at Essex by September 15, 2024.
- Non-Compatibility: The scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship offered by the University of Essex.
- Duration: The scholarship is valid for up to three years of study. It does not apply to the third year of four-year programs that include a placement year or a year abroad.
Scholarship Value
- Annual Award: The scholarship provides a £5,000 discount on the student’s annual tuition fees for each year of full-time undergraduate study.
- Total Value: Over a standard three-year undergraduate program, the total value of the scholarship could be up to £15,000.
