Scholarship Details
The Bavarian Government Scholarships are designed to foster academic exchange and scientific cooperation between Bavaria and Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe. This one-year scholarship is available for:
- Postgraduate Studies: Master’s programs
- PhD Programs: Research stays or PhD studies
- State or State-Funded Higher Education Institutions: At Hochschule Hof University of Applied Sciences or other similar institutions in Bavaria.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Bavarian Government Scholarship, applicants must:
- Enrollment: Be enrolled as a full-time student or double-degree student (exchange students are not eligible) at Hochschule Hof University of Applied Sciences or a similar institution.
- Academic Performance: Bachelor students must have achieved a minimum of 90 ECTS credits. Master’s students must provide their final Bachelor transcript.
- Financial Need: Demonstrate financial need.
- Citizenship: Must be from one of the eligible countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, or Ukraine.
Benefits of the Scholarship
The Bavarian Scholarship provides:
- Monthly Stipend: €934 per month.
- Annual Support: €11,208 per year.
- Additional Support: Students with at least one child receive €1,094 per month, totaling €13,128 per year.
- Tuition Fees: Coverage of tuition fees as per the institution’s policies.
