All students applying for admission to ETSU are automatically considered for these scholarships, and there is no need to submit a separate scholarship application. The scholarship amounts and requirements vary based on the level of study and academic performance.
Scholarship Types and Award Amounts:
- Undergraduate Merit Scholarships:
- Blue Scholarship: $5,000 per year
- Eligibility: Requires a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Gold Scholarship: $7,000 per year
- Eligibility: Requires a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Elite Scholarship: $9,000 per year
- Eligibility: Requires a GPA of 3.75 or higher.
- Blue Scholarship: $5,000 per year
- Graduate Merit Scholarships:
- Masters Merit Scholarship: $5,000 per year
- Eligibility: Requires a GPA of 3.0 or higher in previous coursework.
- Doctoral Merit Scholarship: $9,000 per year

Students Ineligible for International Merit Scholarships:
Certain categories of students are not eligible for these scholarships, including:
- Second Bachelor’s Degree Applicants: If the previous degree was granted by ETSU.
- Students Paying In-State or E-Rate Tuition: Students who qualify for in-state or E-Rate tuition are not eligible.
- Applicants to the M.D. or PharmD Programs: Those applying to these specific programs are excluded.

Award Terms and Conditions

Graduate Students:
