The Bishop’s University Masters Scholarship offers several financial and academic benefits to selected candidates:
- Full Funding: The scholarship is fully funded, ensuring that recipients can focus entirely on their studies and research without financial burden.
- Annual Stipend: Recipients receive a stipend of $14,000 per year to cover living expenses.
- Research Funding: An additional $2,000 per year is provided to support research costs.
- Graduate Entrance Scholarship: Selected students are expected to apply for this scholarship, which, if successful, provides an additional $7,500 per year.
- Additional Scholarship Applications: Students will also apply for the appropriate FRQ (Fonds de recherche du Québec) and CGS-M (Canada Graduate Scholarships – Master’s) scholarships for their second year of studies if eligible.
- Start Date Flexibility: The expected start date is September 1, 2024, but in exceptional cases, a start date in January 2025 may be possible.
