POST GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD SCHEME -NIGERIAN AGIP EXPLORATION [NAE] (Deadline May 2024)
Nigerian Agip Exploration (NAE) Limited, in partnership with the NNPC/NAE PSC, is committed to fostering the development of skilled professionals through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. In alignment with this mission, NAE invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerian graduates for the 2024/2025 Postgraduate Scholarship Award Scheme. This scholarship is available in two categories:
- Overseas Scholarship: For study at a reputable overseas university.
- Local Scholarship: For study at a recognized Nigerian university.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the 2024/2025 NAE Postgraduate Scholarship Award Scheme, applicants MUST:
- Education: Possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Nigerian university.
- Admission: Have secured admission into a Nigerian or Overseas university (based on the category being applied for) for a one-year Master’s Degree programme in any of the disciplines listed below.
- Age: Not above 28 years of age by December 31, 2024.
- NYSC: Have completed the one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
- Passport: Possess an international passport valid for travel at least one year from September 2024 (applicable to overseas category).
Course of Study
Only candidates with an offer of admission in disciplines related to the following areas should apply:
- Geosciences
- Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Subsea, Electrical/Electronics, Marine, Chemical)
- Petroleum Economics
- Law (Oil and Gas/Petroleum)

Important Notes
- Shortlisting: ONLY shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the aptitude test.
- Communication: Shortlisted candidates will receive details of the qualifying test via SMS text and Email (Ensure to provide valid email and phone contacts).
- Eligibility: Employees of NAE and other affiliate companies and their dependents are not eligible for this scholarship.
- Exclusions: Current and past beneficiaries of similar awards from NAE, other affiliate companies, and agencies are not eligible.
- Instructions: Ensure you understand the instructions carefully before you start this application to avoid errors and disqualification. Strict compliance with the above guidelines is required.
Completion of the application form and test invitation shall NOT be construed as a commitment on the part of the NNPC/NAE PSC nor shall it entitle applicants to make any claims whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from NAE and/or any of its partners by virtue of responding to this invitation to apply for the Postgraduate scholarship award.
Scholarship Benefits
The NAE scholarship award covers:
- Tuition fees
- Books
- Field trips
- Accommodation
- Living expenses
- A return economy ticket for a selected one-year course of study.
Application Deadline
Applications must be submitted by May 21, 2024.
Note:
- Only applications submitted through the official web portal will be considered.
- SCHOLASTICA is the designated platform for the 2024/2025 NAE Postgraduate Scholarship Award Scheme.
- Applicants must provide accurate and complete information.
- Successful candidates from the initial application stage will be required to take a Computer-Based Test (CBT) administered on June 8, 2024, using a Remote Online Proctoring Test System.
- E-mail applications will not be accepted.
