Agip Exploration Limited (NAE) Postgraduate Scholarship Award Scheme 2024/2025 (Domestic and International)

Nigerian Agip Exploration Limited, operating under the NNPC & NAE Production Sharing Contract (PSC), and through the postgraduate scholarship is dedicated to fostering the training and development of skilled manpower as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. In line with this commitment, NAE invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerian graduates for the 2024/2025 Postgraduate Scholarship Award Scheme. The scholarship is available in two categories:

1. Overseas: For studies at reputable international universities.
2. Local: For studies at recognized Nigerian universities.

Deadline: Applications must be submitted by the 21st of May 2024.

Important Information:

• Only applications submitted through the official web portal will be considered.
• SCHOLASTICA is the designated platform for the 2024/2025 NAE Postgraduate Scholarship Award Scheme.
• Emailed applications will not be accepted.
• Successful candidates will undergo a Computer Based Test administered using Remote Online Proctoring Test System on the 8th of June 2024.

Course of Study: Candidates with an offer of admission in disciplines related to the following areas should apply:

• Geosciences
• Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Subsea, Electrical/Electronics, Marine, Chemical)
• Petroleum Economics
• Law (Oil and Gas/Petroleum)

How to Apply: SECTION A:

1. Prepare the following scanned documents:
   • Passport photograph (450 × 450 pixels) with a white background not more than 6 months old.
   • Provisional admission letter for post-graduate studies 2024/2025 session into any reputable university – Local/Overseas.
   • First Degree Certificate
   • NYSC Discharge Certificate
   • Valid ID card (Driver’s license, Voter’s card, National Identity card)
   • Valid International Passport Data Page for Overseas category only
   • Birth Certificate from Local government
   • NAE Compliance Declaration Form (download link provided)
2. Label the scanned documents accordingly.
3. Attach the right documents in the appropriate upload section.

SECTION B:

1. Visit the official application portal.
2. Click on “Register Now” to create an account.
3. Activate your account via email.
4. Enter your registered email and password to create your profile.
5. Fill the required Personal Details, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Sections.
6. Upload applicable documents.
7. Ensure the information provided matches the documents.
8. Recheck the application information.
9. Submit the application.

SECTION C:

1. Complete the pre-test steps at least 24 hours before the test date.
2. Download the special browser as per your operating system (Windows/Mac).
3. Access the test platform for practice purposes.

Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for the 2024/2025 NAE Postgraduate Scholarship Award scheme, applicants MUST:

• Possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Nigerian university.
• Have secured admission into a Nigerian or Overseas university (based on the category being applied for) for a one-year Master’s Degree program in specified disciplines.
• Not be above 28 years of age by December 31st, 2024.
• Have completed the one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
• Possess an international passport valid for travel for at least one year from September 2024 (applicable to overseas category).

Note:

• Applicants can apply for both Local and International Categories.
• Multiple applications within the same category will lead to disqualification.
