Program Overview: The FATE Scholar Programme (FSP), a cornerstone of FATE Giving, aims to empower and uplift innovative minds seeking to pursue undergraduate studies in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) disciplines at accredited public tertiary institutions across Nigeria for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Support Offered: FSP extends a comprehensive support package to exceptional and high-performing students, including:
- Financial Aid: Providing crucial financial assistance to alleviate the economic burdens associated with tertiary education.
- Mentoring: Offering invaluable guidance and mentorship to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit and cultivate success.

Duration of Support: Successful applicants are set to receive support throughout their academic journey, spanning at least four years of undergraduate studies at accredited public tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Nigerian citizenship
- Exceptional academic performance and demonstrated entrepreneurial potential
- Age not exceeding 21 years at the time of application
- Intent to pursue an undergraduate degree in a STEAM discipline at an accredited public tertiary institution in Nigeria
Application Timeline: Prospective candidates are encouraged to mark their calendars, as the application window spans from April 19, 2024, to May 19, 2024. Only successful candidates will receive further communication regarding their application status.
Application Process: The application journey unfolds through several stages:
- Stage 1: Applicants initiate the process by submitting their applications through the designated portal: https://soar.fatefoundation.org/auth/signup.
- Stage 2: Successful applicants are shortlisted and contacted for further proceedings.
- Stage 3: Shortlisted candidates undergo the second stage of the application process, where their credentials and suitability are further evaluated.
- Stage 4: Upon successful completion of the second stage, candidates are once again contacted to progress to the subsequent phase.
- Stage 5: Successful candidates advance to the final stage of the application process, where their candidacy is thoroughly reviewed.
- Stage 6: Finally, successful applicants receive confirmation of their selection, marking the culmination of their journey to becoming FATE Scholars.
