United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Data Science Fellowship 2024 (Full-Time, Home-based)
Introduction
In the global effort to eradicate poverty, reduce inequalities, and foster resilience, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) stands at the forefront, operating in nearly 170 countries and territories. At the heart of UNDP’s mission lies the commitment to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aiming for a more sustainable and equitable world.
Empowering through Partnerships: The Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (ICPSD)
Established as a pivotal global organization within UNDP, the ICPSD operates in Istanbul, Turkey, catalyzing private sector engagement in development. Through a Partnership Framework Agreement inked in 2011 between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and UNDP, ICPSD strives to transform the private sector and foundations into potent partners in development. By spearheading research, advocacy, and fostering public-private dialogues, ICPSD paves the way for transformative partnerships worldwide.
Introducing the SDG AI Lab Fellowship: A Pathway to Digital Transformation
Sitting under the umbrella of ICPSD, the SDG AI Lab represents a collaborative initiative between UNDP’s Bureau for Policy and Programme Support (BPPS) and ICPSD. This pioneering lab harnesses the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to drive sustainable development efforts. With a focus on research, development, and advisory support, the SDG AI Lab aims to equip UNDP and its partners with cutting-edge digital solutions to address complex development challenges.
