SSR Mining – Seabee Gold Operation (SGO) is hiring for a Process Engineer Co-op Intern.
About Your New Role: As a Process Engineer Co-op Intern, you will assist the metallurgical team in optimizing mill performance, conducting lab-scale test work, and supporting production operations. Reporting to the Supervisor, Metallurgy, you will collaborate with experienced staff to enhance production facility performance and promote a culture of safety and health.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the process to identify mill bottlenecks and determine the best course of action.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent and Supervisor, Metallurgy, to monitor plant parameters and suggest optimization solutions.
- Conduct various laboratory tests to optimize plant performance.
- Plan and coordinate mill sampling campaigns for accurate data collection.
- Engage in mill process operations such as sampling, analysis, and testing.
- Maintain the efficient operation of mass meters and samplers.
- Manage reagent inventory and conduct quality testing.
- Analyze data and prepare technical documentation to support operational decisions.
- Foster a strong safety culture by engaging and empowering team members.
Your Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in computer applications and metallurgical software.
- Expert level organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong work ethic.
- Good observational and analytical skills.

Your Education and Experience:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate Process/Metallurgical/Chemical/Materials Engineering program.
- Minimum of two years’ education experience.
- Understanding of optimizing mill throughput and recovery.
About Our Working Conditions:
- Schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off at our remote camp.
- Fly-in, fly-out arrangements from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge.
