Position Overview: As an Accounting intern you will play a crucial role in gathering, evaluating, and disputing chargebacks for major retailers. Additionally, you may support various departmental activities as needed. The internship is available in Canada this Fall 2024.
Duties and Responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable Internship:
- Research and build dispute cases to recover funds from retailers following current SOP’s.
- Validate data from internal and third-party systems and ensure appropriate action is taken.
- Respond accurately and promptly to disputes within deadlines.
- Analyze processes and suggest enhancements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor customer portals for dispute resolution status and escalate when necessary.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies and process transactions in the ERP system.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Attributes and Skills:
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
- Detail-oriented and results-driven.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (V-lookups, Formulas, etc.).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
